I hold a Bachelor of Music from Western University, an Ontario Certified Teacher, and I strive to create a positive, encouraging environment where every student feels supported and excited to learn. As a an instructor, my main instrument is the trumpet and all brass instruments, and I also have extensive experience teaching and performing in voice, piano and guitar. I enjoy working with students of all ages and abilities, and I believe that every student learns differently. My lessons are personalized to meet each student's goals, whether they're learning for fun, preparing for performances, or developing their skills for school or community ensembles. Performance has always been an important part of my musical journey. I have been involved with the Station Krew Band, performed with the Voices of Broadway show choir, and have spent many years serving on worship teams in local churches, including as a worship team leader. These experiences have allowed me to perform in a variety of settings while developing a love for collaboration, musical excellence, and using music to connect with others. Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, attending concerts, being outdoors, relaxing with my cats and listening to all kinds of different music. I love building meaningful relationships with my students and celebrating each milestone along the way.
