Hi, I'm David! I grew up in Trinidad & Tobago, where I fell in love with music early on, and eventually moved to Toronto to earn my Bachelor's Degree in Music at Humber College. I've been teaching drums to beginner, intermediate, and advanced students for over 20 years. My approach is simple: I break things down into clear, manageable steps so students feel real progress - not just during lessons, but every time they sit down to practice on their own. I also have an active performing career, playing alongside accomplished artists across Canada and the Caribbean. When I'm not teaching or playing, you'll find me watching sports, playing chess, or catching a good movie. I can't wait to meet you and your family!
