Hi, I’m Stacey! I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Contemporary Music from Humber College and have been teaching since 2016. My teaching style is student-focused and flexible, with an emphasis on creating an individual curriculum tailored to each student’s goals, interests, and learning style. I love incorporating students’ favourite songs and genres into lessons while building strong fundamentals, technique, confidence, and practical musicianship skills. My goal is to help students become confident, versatile players who can apply their skills in real musical settings, jam with others, and enjoy making music! As a Juno-nominated bass player, I bring my real-world experience as a working musician into my lessons. When not teaching or performing, I enjoy cooking and exploring new restaurants.

While giving my students all the information they need, I do my best to also leave them with some space to ask their questions and do their digging. I firmly believe that giving students the freedom to learn and create in their own way with the right guidance can do wonders for one's learning process. I've been a performing musician in various touring tribute acts like Journey, Def Leppard, Shania Twain and The Eagles and toured around playing theatres, festivals and cruises.
