In my lessons, I keep things relaxed and down-to-earth. We’ll work on basics like technique, timing, and reading, but also jam to songs you actually like. I’ll meet you where you’re at and help you build confidence on the kit. I’m all about groove, feel, and making music actually fun. I’m also a John C. Holland Award winner for emerging musicians. When not teaching, in school or performing, I like to explore the city, and play football and basketball. As a performer, I’ve had the opportunity to play with Grammy-nominated artists, record on professional projects, and perform concerts for audiences of over 10,000 people. Outside of teaching and performing, I like watching movies, working out, and attending concerts.
