I encourage students to explore their favourite styles, develop their own musical identity, and understand that mistakes are a natural and necessary part of learning. Drumming isn’t just about hitting the right notes; it’s about feel, expression, and connection. As a performer, I’ve had the opportunity to play with Grammy-nominated artists, record on professional projects, and perform concerts for audiences of over 10,000 people. Outside of teaching and performing, I like watching movies, working out, and attending concerts.
