I have been singing ever since I could speak and realized that my passion for singing went well beyond a hobby. I enrolled in private vocal lessons at the age of 11 and took my grade 8 Royal Conservatory of Music vocal exam at age 15, as well as my Level 5 Theory examination. I then began performing in musicals, doing gigs and learning how to teach. I then pursued and completed my Royal Conservatory of Music Piano Level 4. Along the way, I picked up the guitar to add to my collection of teachable instruments. I have been teaching music lessons since 2016 and am excited to share my passion with the students of Rockstar Music. I focus on a positive student experience and believe in a student-first approach to teaching. This includes games, collaborative song choices and lesson plans that involve the student's personal interests and goals.
