I've been a musician for over 30 years, mainly focusing on guitar. My musical education includes guitar lessons as a teen; I was later accepted into Vanier College's guitar program and, years later, completed the Audio Recording Technology program there, which included Music Theory and Production. I've played in many bands for many years, playing different styles ranging from rock to Middle Eastern to classical and many more. Also, I've composed soundtracks for several short films. The way I approach teaching is by finding out what kind of music my student is interested in and introducing them to guitar techniques by associating songs that they recognize as well as introducing other styles of music that they might not. The most important thing when learning an instrument is practice; fifteen minutes a day can make all the difference.
