Over the years I've played in punk bands, worked as a session musician, written nearly 200 guitar arrangements, accompanied Broadway performers (and order of Canada recipients) live on stage, worked as a freelance music producer and, of course, taught guitar! When it comes to learning how to play an instrument, I think people are a lot more capable than they give themselves credit for. And, as a self-taught guitarist, it's important to me that the learning process isn't intimidating or overwhelming.
