I hold a Bachelor of Music from York University and have been teaching for over 20 years. Throughout my career, I have taught both private lessons and full classroom music programs in private schools. I am passionate about helping students succeed and have developed a proven teaching approach that motivates students to learn, practice consistently, and achieve meaningful results. My lessons are designed to be engaging, rewarding, and tailored to each student's unique goals and interests. While giving my students all the information they need, I do my best to also leave them with some space to ask their questions and do their digging. I firmly believe that giving students the freedom to learn and create in their own way with the right guidance can do wonders for one's learning process. I've been a performing musician in various touring tribute acts like Journey, Def Leppard, Shania Twain and The Eagles and toured around playing theatres, festivals and cruises. What began as a hobby quickly became a true passion. I studied with a private instructor for 12 years, whose dedication and love for music had a huge impact on me. At the same time, I spent a lot of time teaching myself and exploring music on my own, which helped shape my style and understanding of the instruments. I’m currently at university full-time studying Engineering, but music remains a big part of my life. In all these years, I’ve never practised because I had to, only because I wanted to. That’s something my teacher instilled in me, and I now hope to pass it on to my students. One of the most beautiful things about the guitar is that you can start making music from the moment you pick it up, no matter your age or experience. My goal is to help others discover that same enjoyment and love for playing.

You can catch me most weekends playing with one or multiple of them and if not, jamming at home. When not teaching or performing, I enjoy reading fantasy and sci-fi books. along with dressing my 2 dogs in crazy outfits just so I can confuse my 7 cats.
