I’m happy to tailor our lessons to include music and activities that excite you. I believe that many people possess natural musical talent, but I’m here to help you shape and cultivate your talent, while building your confidence and encouraging you along the way. I believe that every student learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to each individual’s age, interests, and goals. Whether you’re picking up an instrument for the very first time or looking to build on your existing skills, my goal is to help you feel confident, motivated, and excited to learn. I’m currently working toward my dream of becoming a high school music teacher because I believe music should be accessible, enjoyable, and empowering for everyone. If my student is working towards musical theatre, concerts, auditions or just has struggles with self-confidence, I will teach stage presence and the importance of confidence in yourself and your capabilities. Music has always been a form of therapy for me as I use music to express my emotions. This can be in the form of happiness, excitement, anger and sadness. I want my students to be able to call music a tool for them to grow as a person.
