Hi, I’m Emmy! I hold both a Bachelor of Music and a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Regina, as well as certification in Transcribing Braille Music. Since beginning my teaching journey in 2018, I’ve developed a vocal approach rooted in the Bel Canto technique, with a strong focus on vocal health and sustainable singing habits that protect and nurture each student’s unique voice. For woodwinds, drums, and guitar, I design individualized curriculums tailored to each student’s musical interests and learning style. This personalized approach allows me to connect with students across various disciplines and help them grow confidently in any ensemble or solo setting. As a performer, I’ve appeared in theatres, music halls, and churches. Beyond teaching and performing, I’m an avid anime fan, love taking walks with my cats, exploring new cuisines, and staying active at the gym. I bring that same curiosity and positive energy into every lesson, encouraging students to build confidence both in music and in themselves. My goal is to help you discover and develop the sound that’s already within you.

She aims to create a structured yet encouraging environment where students feel both challenged and supported, with a strong focus on building long-term skills.
