Hello! My name is Jordan, and I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Music with a specialisation in Music Psychology from McMaster University 2023. I’m currently completing my Master’s in Music and Health at the University of Toronto as I work toward a career in Neurologic Music Therapy 2026. I’ve been teaching music for over two years and strive to create lessons that are both structured and fun. My approach balances performance and theory to help students build strong musical skills while enjoying the learning process. My students often describe me as patient, encouraging, and supportive. Qualities I take pride in bringing to every lesson. I studied euphonium and baritone during my undergraduate degree, after earning the highest grade in instrumental music and performative arts in high school. I’ve performed for several years in concert brass bands as a euphoniumist and am currently focusing on teaching and completing my RCM Level 8 Piano and Theory certifications. I believe that every child deserves the chance to make a meaningful connection with music. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy exploring music psychology research, reading, and spending time with animals.
