<p>Hi! My name is Edison. I first discovered drumming in elementary school, and ever since, it has been my favourite way to connect with music. Over the years, I have developed a strong foundation in rhythm and technique through more than 10 years of private drum lessons while exploring a wide variety of musical styles. I am currently working toward my Bachelor of Economics at Simon Fraser University and have been teaching music since 2025. As a teacher, I understand how important it is for students to feel supported, encouraged, and motivated throughout their musical journey. I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to each individual's goals, interests, and learning style, creating a positive and engaging environment where they can build confidence and enjoy learning. My approach to teaching is simple: music should be fun, rewarding, and something students look forward to each week. Whether a student is just starting out or looking to further develop their skills, I strive to make lessons both enjoyable and meaningful. Outside of music, I enjoy cycling and spending time with friends, and I understand the challenges of balancing school, life, and learning something new. I hope to create a welcoming space where students feel comfortable, inspired, and excited to play.</p>
