Hello and welcome! I'm Julianne - a classically trained pianist with an overflowing passion for music and education. I achieved an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Education from Lakehead University. I am an Ontario Certified Teacher with almost 15 years of classroom experience, teaching most subjects to students from Kindergarten to College. In 2022, I became an Elementary Music Teacher (K to 8), and I love it so much that I wanted to keep sharing my knowledge and passion for Music with students outside the busy classroom. If you are interested in joining me on a joyful, musical journey, let me guide you on the piano, ukulele, recorder, flute, clarinet, trumpet, or saxophone. I create and facilitate a program uniquely suited to each musician, with a focus on theory, technique, and fun! I have extensive experience working with students with varying needs and goals, and recognize and celebrate the power of music to repair, inspire, and unite people from all backgrounds. When I'm not teaching, you might find me walking my dog, reading, or coaching my daughter's hockey team. I love animals, nature, sports, and space!
