Hi, I’m Lucy, and I’ve been passionate about music from a young age. I began piano at five years old and started playing the cello at eleven, eventually earning my Grade 10 Royal Conservatory of Music certifications in both instruments, along with an ARCT diploma in harmony, counterpoint, and music history. I have been teaching music since 2024 and enjoy helping students build both confidence and creativity in their playing. My teaching philosophy focuses on making lessons engaging and supportive, so each student can express themselves and grow at their own pace. I hope that every student can find their own meaning in music and enjoy the process of discovery. As a performer, I’ve had the opportunity to play in Toronto, Vancouver, Italy, and Ireland, and I currently perform as a first cellist with the McMaster Symphony Orchestra. Outside of music, I love exploring other forms of art like painting and drawing, and I also enjoy watching Marvel movies and figure skating.
