Hi, I'm Jerry! I graduated from New York University's Screen Scoring program with a bachelor's and master's degree and have been teaching music since 2021. I want to help students find the joy in creating music as well as overcoming the challenges they may face. I'm especially passionate about music composition, orchestration, production and theory, and would love to pass on the same passions and deep knowledge in these areas to my students! I am a classically trained pianist, and have experience in solo performance as well as composing for film, television and musical theatre. Outside of music, I am very into board games and am also a huge hockey and F1 fan, so I'm always down to chat about any of these!
