Hi my name is Mira, I started playing saxophone and piano in elementary school. Music quickly became my favorite subject. I did competitions before applying to university. Currently I am studying music at Wilifrid Laurier University, specializing in composition and musicology. Music has so many aspects to it, history, analysis/theory, performance, techniques, etc. Music teaches us so many useful skills that are transferable to many aspects of life. I believe that no matter what age or level you're at music wise, we can all learn something from each other. When working on a piece of music there is always something you can improve. I believe music is constant growth and development.
