Hi! I’m Emmerson, and I’m currently studying Opera and Music Education at Western University. My studies focus on both performance and teaching. I have been teaching since 2023 and have experience teaching in different musical settings. I want students to enjoy music, stay motivated, and feel confident expressing themselves. Being involved in music creation has shaped how I teach and helped me become patient, adaptable, and comfortable working with different learning styles. I aim to create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel encouraged to grow and enjoy their musical journey. I’m also an active performer, and I play in a band that writes original music. As a Music and Mission Program Developer, I have worked with choral and classical singing both in and out of school. When I’m not teaching or studying, I’m usually listening to new music, rehearsing, or working on creative projects.
