Music lessons in Mississauga — common questions
Do you offer trial lessons in Mississauga?
Yes. Every new Mississauga student gets a free 30-minute trial lesson with their chosen Rockstar teacher. No credit card required, no commitment. Our team follows up within 24 hours of your booking request to schedule it.
How are teachers vetted?
Every Rockstar teacher is hand-picked and vulnerable-sector checked, the Canadian police-record screening required for working with children. Most have university or conservatory training, and many are working musicians with active performing, composing, or recording careers. Each teacher's profile shows aggregate ratings and verbatim student reviews.
Do teachers really come to my Mississauga home?
Yes. In-home is our flagship lesson format and what we are best known for. The teacher travels to your home in Mississauga; you don't travel to a studio. We pair you with the closest qualified instructor for your instrument and age range.
What ages and levels do you teach in Mississauga?
All ages from 3 (Tots) through Seniors, and all skill levels from Beginner to Advanced. Coverage for any specific instrument-by-age combination depends on which teachers serve Mississauga specifically. Visit your instrument's page on the Mississauga section to see available teachers.
Can my child learn rock or pop in Mississauga, not just classical?
Yes. Rockstar Music hires from every musical background: classical conservatory graduates and Suzuki teachers alongside jazz players, rock and pop performers, songwriters, and recording artists. Each teacher brings their own musical story; choose the one whose world matches your goals.
Do you teach RCM exam preparation in Mississauga?
Yes. Many of our piano, violin, voice, and theory instructors prepare students for Royal Conservatory of Music exams from preliminary through ARCT. Suzuki methodology is also offered by several violin and piano teachers.
Can I take lessons online instead?
Yes. Online lessons run over video call with the same instructors, curriculum, and booking flow as in-home. Select Online as your preferred format when booking.
