Hi, I’m Maxwell! I help students build confidence in their voice, strengthen healthy technique, and apply those skills to music they genuinely enjoy. I’ve been singing since age five, starting in church and gospel music before studying classical and jazz vocals through a specialized arts program. That foundation grew into a career as a vocalist, songwriter, producer and recording engineer, including production credits with artists such as Ludacris. I’ve been teaching music for more than 15 years, including recent work with children and young people through a municipal youth music program, and I tailor every lesson to each student’s goals, interests and level, blending technique, ear training, song work and performance confidence with a real understanding of how their own voice works. Because I also work in songwriting, recording and production, students can go further too, learning how to write, record, build arrangements and shape their own music from a first idea into a finished song. Outside of music, I’m a big basketball fan and enjoy technology, fashion, discovering great food, and exploring new ideas.
