I am a guitarist, composer, and producer with a passion for helping students develop their skills and confidence as musicians. I am largely self-taught as a guitarist, which has taught me the value of patience, experimentation, and finding different ways to approach learning. With so much information and so many resources available online today, I can also relate firsthand to the experience of learning an instrument or digital music production independently—figuring out what works, working through challenges, and sometimes feeling overwhelmed by where to begin. I bring that perspective into my teaching and aim to make lessons engaging, approachable, and tailored to each student’s goals and interests. I teach guitar fundamentals, chords, scales, technique, rhythm, music theory, and songs, while helping students develop the skills they need to play the music they enjoy. Alongside guitar, I work as a composer and producer creating music for film, television, and visual media. My experience in songwriting, arrangement, recording, and digital music production allows me to help students understand not only how to play guitar, but how their instrument can fit into the bigger picture of making music. My goal as a teacher is to give students a strong foundation while helping them become confident, independent musicians who genuinely enjoy learning and playing.
