Hi I'm Osa.. I am a self-taught drummer who learned through curiosity, dedication, and countless hours of playing along to records, studying live performances, and collaborating with other musicians. I have been teaching since 2021, and I focus on helping students build a strong foundation while keeping lessons engaging, encouraging, and fun. My goal is always to meet students where they are and help them grow at a pace that feels exciting rather than overwhelming. My teaching philosophy is simple: music should feel good to play. Technique, reading, and discipline matter, but they work best when paired with joy, creativity, and confidence. I encourage students to explore their favourite styles, develop their own musical identity, and understand that mistakes are a natural and necessary part of learning. Drumming isn’t just about hitting the right notes; it’s about feel, expression, and connection. As a performer, I’ve had the opportunity to play with Grammy-nominated artists, record on professional projects, and perform concerts for audiences of over 10,000 people. Outside of teaching and performing, I like watching movies, working out, and attending concerts.
