Hi, my name is Khadijah. I am a TDSB teacher by day and a piano teacher by night. I have been teaching with TDSC since 2016 and have been teaching Piano since 2026. I started playing piano with the Royal Conservatory of Music when I was 10 and continued until I got my Grade 8. While I have more experience using the RCM format for teaching, I was also the piano student who enjoyed supplementing the RCM syllabus with what I call "Passion songs": songs from movies, games or other popular music that I loved. So, feel free to tell me about your passion songs, and we can work towards learning them. Aside from playing piano, I am passionate about Anime, Pottery and Animals. Because I am also a language student, learning Japanese, I understand how it feels to be nervous, and ultimately what it feels like to be a student. I hope to bring this experience and understanding into our lessons to help you feel comfortable and know that your teacher is patient with you and the progress you are working towards making.
