Nikki is a passionate piano teacher, performer, and researcher based in Montreal. She holds a Master of Science in Performance Science from the Royal College of Music in London, UK. She is currently pursuing a PhD at McGill University’s Schulich School of Music. Her research focuses on helping children learn music more effectively, particularly those with different learning styles and needs. With over 13 years of teaching experience, Nikki has worked with students of all ages, from young beginners taking their first lesson to advanced musicians preparing for exams, festivals, auditions, and performances. She is a Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) Certified Teacher and believes that every student can succeed when lessons are tailored to their unique strengths, interests, and goals. As a performer, Nikki has experience as a solo pianist, collaborative pianist, singer, and conductor. She enjoys sharing her love of music with students and helping them develop both strong musical skills and confidence in themselves. When she’s not teaching, researching, or performing, Nikki enjoys attending concerts, exploring Montreal, and spending time with family and friends. She understands that learning music should be both rewarding and enjoyable, and she strives to create a positive, encouraging environment where students can grow, learn, and have fun making music.
