Hi, I'm Kyle. I have been passionate about music from an early age. Growing up listening to and learning rock and blues, I later developed a love for classical and jazz music while studying music at university. I received my Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Guitar Performance from the University of British Columbia. I've been teaching music since 2014 and have had students go on to win music competitions, and University acceptances to pursue their music careers. My lessons are catered to the students' wants and needs, whether learning to play chords. so they can jam with friends or prepare for exams and/or university. All my students will develop a universal technique for all musical styles. I also have experience as a studio musician, performer, arranger, and sideman since 2014. When not teaching or performing, I enjoy travelling and cooking.
