Hello, I'm Hong! I hold a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Music from Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU). At HKBU, I immersed myself in various musical pursuits, including piano performance, choir singing, piano accompaniment, and composition. I have earned the Associate Diploma in Recital in Piano (ATCL) with Distinction from Trinity College London and attained Grade 8 in Music Theory from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM). With over 16 years of experience, I have been dedicated to teaching piano and music theory. Music is not just an art form; it's an attitude. I view pianists as athletes, and playing music is not only about performance but also a form of athleticism. It reflects who you are. My lessons prioritise teaching you how to play pieces with a relaxed body and efficient techniques. I tailor my teaching methods to address various technical and musical challenges you may encounter.
