Hey there! I’m Michael. I am a musician who’s spent more than 18 years (yep, around half my life!) learning and teaching. I teach a wide range of students—from wide-eyed elementary school kids who think the bow is a magic wand (they’re not entirely wrong), to seasoned professionals from the International Symphony Orchestra who just need a fresh perspective or a new challenge. Whether it’s an in-person lesson or a virtual session, I bring energy, creativity, and just the right amount of dad-joke humour to keep things fun and engaging. I’ve learned that every student is wonderfully unique. Some learn by ear, some by sight, and some by sheer willpower and snacks. My job is to meet them where they are and help them build confidence, technique, and a genuine love for music.
