Hi, I'm Athena! Music has been an important part of my life since I was seven years old. I began learning piano at a young age and have had the opportunity to perform many times throughout my musical education. As a Registered Early Childhood Educator, I bring a unique perspective to teaching children. Although I am beginning my formal piano-teaching journey, my experience working with young children has taught me the importance of patience, encouragement, play, and meeting each child where they are. I understand that every individual learns differently, and I want my lessons to reflect that. My teaching philosophy is centred around helping my students discover the joy of making music. I believe learning to play music is an opportunity for individuals to express themselves, explore their creativity, build confidence, and develop skills they can be proud of.
