Cassie is a clarinettist from Long Island, New York, currently residing in Toronto. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Clarinet Performance from the University of Michigan and an Artist Diploma in Orchestral Studies from the Glenn Gould School. Cassie has performed with orchestras across Canada and the US, including the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra, the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra, the Peterborough Symphony Orchestra, and more. An avid teacher and performer, Cassie has been teaching private lessons since 2018. She served as a mentor for the Detroit Symphony Civic Youth Ensembles and has maintained a robust private studio in the GTA. Her teaching style emphasises focusing on the fundamentals of music-making while keeping lessons fun.
