At 22 years old, Kirstyn moved from her small hometown of Strathmore, Alberta, to Toronto with a dream of building a career in music. In 2020, she co-founded an acclaimed songwriting and production company and has since earned two JUNO Award nominations (2024 & 2026), secured multiple television placements across major networks including Hallmark, Sportsnet, and My Little Pony, and collaborated with artists such as Forest Blakk, Nelly Furtado, Sofia Camara, Fefe Dobson, Shawn Desman, and more. A graduate of Berklee College of Music with a certificate in Music Business, Kirstyn is a recording artist, songwriter, producer, performer, and educator who specialises in songwriting and artist development. Piano and voice are her primary instruments, and she has toured throughout North America and Europe as a pianist and vocalist, performing in arenas alongside Sofia Camara while supporting artists including Dean Lewis and Stevie Nicks. Kirstyn believes music lessons should be inspiring, empowering, and tailored to each student's unique goals. Her teaching style focuses on building confidence, fostering creativity, and developing strong musical foundations while helping students discover their own artistic voice. Whether a student dreams of performing on stage, writing original songs, or simply developing a lifelong love of music, Kirstyn is passionate about helping them grow both as musicians and as people.
