Hi, I'm Marko. I have my Bachelor of Music Degree from Humber College. Through that program, I was able to travel to Connecticut to teach at an arts camp, where I worked with over 50 students through private lessons and ensemble performances. I have been teaching music since 2018 and I strive to make the process of learning how to play music as fun as possible. I prioritize the student's interests and focus on what can learn from them (sometimes it can be a song from a video game or movie that I like). While giving my students all the information they need, I do my best to also leave them with some space to ask their questions and do their digging. I firmly believe that giving students the freedom to learn and create in their own way with the right guidance can do wonders for one's learning process. I've been a performing musician in various touring tribute acts like Journey, Def Leppard, Shania Twain and The Eagles and toured around playing theatres, festivals and cruises. A fun little fact about me: I'm big into video games! Video game music is one of my favorite genres so we can dive into that world if you're into it as well.
