Hi, I’m a Juno-nominated bass player and teacher with a degree in Contemporary Music from Humber College, where I studied jazz. I’ve been teaching since 2016 and have performed across Canada, the U.S., Europe, Australia, Japan, and Mexico. As a working musician, I play a wide range of styles, including rock, pop, R&B, soul, country, indie, roots, and blues. In lessons, the student’s own musical interests always guide the repertoire and genres we explore. I believe a great bass player’s role is to support the song and the musicians around them. With that in mind, I focus on building strong fundamentals, confidence, and practical skills, with the goal of getting students ready to jam and make music with others.
