Hello, I’m Stefanie - a multi-instrumentalist from New York City who now calls Toronto home. I am a classically trained flutist specializing in contemporary music, extended techniques, improvisation, composition, and more. I have my own ensemble in NYC, InfraSound, and also perform locally in Toronto contemporary music scene and beyond. I have held a private studio since 2016 and can teach flute at all levels, from beginner to advanced. I also offer beginner clarinet and saxophone lessons and can help students get started on their own woodwind doubling journey. Believing that music is for everyone, I encourage creative expression and promote accessibility to music for all. Whether you are preparing for a career in music, or want to add more creativity and expression into your life, I will figure out the right lesson plan that works for you! I hold a Master’s Degrees from the Manhattan School of Music and SUNY Purchase College, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Delaware. In addition to music, I love taking care of my pets - a Shiba Inu named Bella and a California King Snake named Bandit - and over 70 houseplants!
