Hello! My name is Cole, and I'm a performing musician and composer in Vancouver with a passion for sharing my love of music with anyone who wants to learn. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies - Performance/Composition from Capilano University and have nearly 20 years of musical experience. As an avid music lover and performing musician I've had the opportunity to play a wide range of styles like Soul, Jazz, Rock, Funk, Blues, West African Music, Reggae, Fusion, pop and more from small clubs to festival stages as sideman and bandleader. In 2020 I started teaching music and have steadily grown my approach of treating each student as the individual that they are. In our lessons you'll be on a path to learning the essentials of the instrument, music and beyond while connecting it to music you know in a patient and encouraging atmosphere with a sense of humour. Outside of music I'm a big fan of Coffee, sci-fi, and watching the birds on my balcony.
