Hi, I'm Dacey! I studied music production and songwriting at the Nimbus Recording School of Arts and Media and have taught since 2025. Rather than having a set teaching methodology, I like to help students achieve their individual goals while discovering their own sound. I encourage people to try other instruments and find what works for them rather than feeling stuck with something they don't enjoy. My performance experience is vast for my age, and I've been lucky to play shows around Vancouver since 2017. I was in the choir throughout elementary and high school and played bass in a jazz band. I've also recorded 2 EPs and am finishing my first full-length album. I am currently signed to a publishing deal with 88-Rising, writing music for artists from their roster! I own 3 lovely cats (Milo, Misky, and Chuchi), I enjoy watching movies, dominating in Tetris, seeing public art (at galleries/events) and going to concerts.
