<p>Hi! My name is Alex. I hold an ABRSM Grade 5 Guitar Certificate (equivalent to Royal Conservatory of Music Grade 7) as well as a Rockschool Grade 8 Guitar Certificate, earned while studying in Hong Kong. I have been teaching since 2017 and am passionate about equipping students with the tools and knowledge they need to express themselves through music. In my teaching, I focus on creating individualised lesson plans tailored to each student’s goals, interests, and learning style, so they can grow in ways that feel both engaging and meaningful. Whether a student is just beginning their musical journey or looking to refine their skills, I strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment where they can build confidence and develop a lifelong love of music. My goal is to foster curiosity and exploration in music, encouraging students to go beyond technical guitar skills and develop the confidence to perform and express themselves fully through the instrument. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy playing video games and basketball.</p>
