Hi there! I am Alexa! I am a vocalist, actor and performer. I recently graduated from the University of Windsor’s Bachelor of Arts in Acting program. I have been vocal training and doing musical theatre performances since 2017, and have been teaching since 2022. I have a passionate love for the worlds of Musical Theatre and Jazz, but my enthusiasm for vocal training knows no bounds, as I eagerly embrace the opportunity to explore and train an eclectic range of vocal styles. I believe that voice training is not a one-size-fits-all-all! EVERYONE and ANYONE can sing with proper technique, confidently, whilst learning the art of storytelling through song. I aim to help you discover the right fit for you! I pride myself on constructing particular and nuanced lesson plans for all my students, with a true focus on what my students desire to achieve vocally. Hi there, I hope you're doing well. My name is Alexa Demoulis and I am a vocal and piano teacher here at Rockstar Music. I've been playing, singing, and performing for the last 15 years.

What does a first lesson with you look like?

In a first lesson, I love to get to know you. What excites you about music? What's your favorite song? Who's your favorite artist? We'll cover some basic technique. We'll talk a bit about lesson structure. What does it mean to warm up? What is technique? How do we pick a first song? All of the above.

A fun fact about you that has nothing to do with music.

And a little fun fact about me is that I am also an actor. I love theater. I love both watching theater and performing. I've done some film and TV and commercial work and performance overall is just a huge part of my life and I'm very grateful to get to do what I love every day.
