Hi! I’m Jordan. I’ve been a guitar player/musician for over 20 years, studying privately and graduating from the Metal Works guitar program. I have been teaching since 2009 across multiple genres and in music education, giving players the knowledge they need. My teaching comes from the best lessons I have learned: understanding what you’re learning on a deeper level than just “parroting” something off a sheet, so your knowledge moulds you as a player with your own originality and sound. It’s easy to get stuck on social media/YouTube, get overwhelmed by never-ending knowledge, and fall into a “junk” practice routine with no end goal whatsoever. What I like to do is narrow things down to quality practice and help you become the best player you can be. When not teaching, I like reading, Legos, and learning new things, along with spending time with family and my dog.
