Hi Im Michael. I’ve been playing piano and guitar for over 15 years, and teaching has become one of my greatest passions. I started out on piano, completing my Level 8 RCM exam, before diving into electric guitar where I explored rock, metal, and improvisation. I studied music at Queen’s University, focusing on theory, recording, and classical guitar, and since then I've been teaching music lessons and helped many students discover their own love of music. I also perform regularly in jazz and rock groups, which keeps me inspired and creative. In my lessons, I combine solid fundamentals with fun, practical playing so students can build confidence and enjoy the music they make.
