<p>Hello, I'm Nate! I have been playing guitar, ukulele and bass since I was 12 years old and hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the Institute of Education in England. Since 2019, I have been teaching in elementary schools (Grades 3–6 in subjects including music, math, English, and choir) as well as providing private music lessons. I believe that music lessons should be both meaningful and enjoyable. While I teach essential skills such as chords, scales, and music theory, I also encourage students to explore their creativity by making their own music and experimenting from the very first lesson. You’ll be amazed at how much music you can create with just a little guidance! Listening to my students is important to me, so I always encourage you to share the songs and styles you'd like to learn. Together, we'll work toward helping you play the music you love. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy swimming, spending time with animals, watching birds and lizards, playing with my cat, Thea, and catching the latest Marvel superhero movies with my wife.</p>
